| 内容記述 | The mass transfer coefficients were determinded by the Coluburn-Welsh technique with the apparatus shown in Fig.1. for methyl ethyl ketone-water and normal butanol-water. Since the transfer coefficients are dependent on the Reynolds numburs and physical properties of the two phases, the effect of the Schmidt numbers were checked by the Gordon-Sherwood method. As a result, it was found that the mass transfer took place approximately according to the following equation. k₁/v₁ = 5.78X10⁻⁷(Re₁+Re₂・µ₂/µ₁)² where k₁ : individual mass transfer coefficient, v₁：kinematic viscosity of 1 phase, Re₁, Re₂, µ₁ , µ₂ : Reynolds numbers and viscosity of both phases. |
