| 内容記述 | Four local populations of Polygonum thunbergii s. lat. in Aichi and south-eastern Gifu Prefectures were stud-ied for the first step of taxonomic revision of this complex. All local populations studied were separated into mor-phologically distinct two subpopulations. In the populations in Okazaki and Seto, moreover, the two morphologi-cal subpopulations were also separated from each other in flowering seasons and habitats. Some subpopulations were morphologically and ecologically similar to those of other local population（s）; the eight subpopulations of the four local populations were classified into four “types”. | |||||
