| 内容記述 | This paper aims to explain in detail the system of traditional landscape conservation for groups of historical buildings in important preservation districts. An analysis was conducted of the relations between the actors from local government (prefectural and municipal) and some residents' associations in the study area, focusing in particular on those who were participants in the residents' associations. The study area is the Kanaya-machi District, in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, which was selected as an important preservation district for groups of historical buildings in 2012. As a result, the opportunity was seized by both local government and the residents' associations in Kanaya-machi to revive landscape conservation activities. Although these activities and the local government departments who were involved were different in each residents' association, the cooperative system in the area has been developed spontaneously under the title "Genki Projects," with specific residents acting as coordinators. Each of these activities was tied to a common stage of Kanaya-machi's conservation, and thus the current traditional landscape has been preserved. | |||||
