| 内容記述 | 降水のレーダ観測は，降水量をレーダ反射因子Zと降水強度Rとの関係（Z-R関係）により推定する。降雪現象は降雨現象に比べて多くの要素が複雑に関与していて，レーダ反射に影響を与える降雪粒子の諸特性が降雪の種類によって様々になるため，降雪のZ-R関係を決定するには，ZとRを短い時間間隔で高精度に測定する必要がある。また，降雪粒子を雪片とアラレに分類するために降雪粒子の特徴量(形状，落下速度，密度等)も調べなければならない。 本研究では統合型降雪観測装置を構成し，様々な地上観測装置を一カ所に設置し，レーダとライダによる下層大気層の広範囲の降雪観測と実際の地上観測とを対応させた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Radar measurements of precipitation are based on the relation between the radar reflectivity factor Z and precipitation rate R. In order to determine the Z-R relationship for snowfall, Z and R have to be measured independently with high accuracy within a short time intervals. It is also important to examine snow particle characteristic (shape, velocity, density, etc.) distinguish between snowflakes and graupels. In this research, the integrated measurement system for snowfall characteristic evaluation is presented. Various measurement utilities are gathered in one place to allow the snowfall observation on the wide scale by the radars and lidars scanning the lower atmosphere. |
