| 内容記述 | QCDでのカラ-閉じ込めの機構を解析的に探るこの研究計画の初年度(昭和63年度)の研究成果は次のようである。1.我々は、'tHooftのabelian projictionの考えを基礎に、言葉通りDual Ginzburg-Landau理論と呼べる赤外有効理論を導くのに成功した。この理論は、静的なカラ-電荷間にリニア-なポテンシャルを与えた。 2.上記の有効理論で、唯一の重要な仮定はモノポ-ルの凝縮が起こるという仮定である。実際この仮定のみでカラ-電荷の閉じ込めが示せること、さらに静的な場合のみでなくダイナミカルな電荷も閉じ込もることが証明された。 2年度の平成元年度の研究成果は、おもに次の2点である。1.有効理論の運動方程式を古典的に数値的にといた。その結果SU(3)QCDの閉じ込め相の真空は第1種と第2種の境界のデュアルな超伝導状態であることがわかった。 2.Abelian monopole condensationという閉じ込めの描像がQCDで本当に実現しているかどうかをMonte-Carlo Simulationで調べた。格子化されたQCDでAbelian ProjectionをおこないAbelian Wilson loopを測定した。その結果、U(1)共変ゲ-ジでゲ-ジ固定した場合はabelian Wilson loopがゲ-ジ固定前に較べてたいへん大きくなりfull Wilson loopと本質的に一致しstring tensionも完全に一致した。一方ユニタリ-ゲ-ジではこの様なことはみられなかった。このデ-タ-はU(1)共変ゲ-ジではア-ベリアン的に閉じ込めが理解できることを示している。 |

| 内容記述 | (1)Based on the idea of 'tHooft, i.e., abelian projection, we have constructed Ginzburg-Landau type theory of quark confinement. This theory gives linear potential between static color sources.(2)It is proved that only the assumption of abelian monopole condensation can give confinement of dynamical as well as static quarks.(3)Solving classical equations of motion of the infrared effective theory numerically, we have found that the vacuum of SU(3) QCD is near the boundary between type-1 and type-2 dual superconductor.(4)To check if abelian component really plays the dominant role in quark confinement, we have done Monte-Carlo simulation in lattice QCD and evaluated abelian Wilson loops after abelian projection. When the abelian projection is done U(1) covariantly, the abelian Wilson loops drastically enhance after the gauge fixing. The abelian string tension coincides exactly with the full string tension. On the other hand, such a behavior can not be found in the unitary gauge-fixing. | |||||
