| 内容記述 | 本研究では、インド・アジャンター後期石窟寺院群について、石窟造営の様相と石窟群の開窟過程を、特に僧坊の配置とその扉の取り付け方、石窟に設けられた柱の配置と装飾方法、そして壁面、天井にみられる建築的装飾方法の3点の建築技術的観点から調査し、その結果を系統的に分類、整理することにより明らかにした。アジャンター石窟群は、石窟単体で造営されたものが蓄積したものではなく、石窟群全体が、互いに影響を及ぼして、短期間に造営されたものと考えることができる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This Study aims to reveal the characteristic appearance and the process of the excavation of the cave temples at Ajanta from the following architectural points of view; the arrangement of cells and the fitting of door of cells, the arrangement and decoration of the pillars in the cave temples, and the architectural decoration of the walls and ceiling paintings. According to systematically collected data at the site and organized analysis, the caves at Ajanta are not the assemblage of individual cave, but the whole caves are excavated having influenced each other in diverse way. | |||||
