| 内容記述 | 本研究が対象とする寺院掛布製作現場では、布が実質的な儀礼的機能を喪失している一方で、製作物の実用化と技術・デザインの合理化が進行している。増加する製作者たちの技術レベルが下方向に広がるなか、代替的な価値観の一つとして「宗教性」が見直されるようになり、実用布製作においても地域的な特色として外部に向けて発信されるようになった。 では、儀礼性を有しない布が孕む宗教性とはどういうものか。それは、製作者にとっては「俗」であるよりも「聖」に近い者であることを表すと同時に、経済性が優位にたちつつある中で、俗性を払拭し聖性を取り戻す事ができる「浄化作用」を発揮する機能を果たし始めた付加価値であるといえる。 |

| 内容記述 | The aim of this article is to confirm the meaning and the value of "Religiosity" given to the cloth, and to examine the relation to sustainable handicraft revitalization by comparing it to other types of temple cloth made in North India. This paper will not only analyze this from the aspect of the design, but also through the incorporation of the approach reflected by the makers' conscious process. As of the present, the cloth made in North India is always granted "Religiosity" without the maker’s consciousness that input religious. On the other hand, the kalamkari cloth has lost its ritual function. Therefore, the "Religiosity" came to be reviewed as one of the alternative sense of values, and it came to be push out as a regional characteristic aiming at outside of. It can be said that the "Religiosity" come to be an additional value to wipe out earthliness for "Depuration" to regaine the “Sage” of the temple cloth and the makers. |
