| 内容記述 | 本研究は後期ビザンティン聖堂（13～15世紀）における図像プログラムの儀礼化の一端を明らかにするものである。儀礼化とは典礼の変化に伴う、建築形態の変化・新図像の創出・図像プログラムの変化といった諸現象を指す。 後期ビザンティンでは、図像プログラムが以前の時代と比して複雑化・多層化する。本研究を通じて、アプシスには複数の教義を含意する多義的な図像を好むようになったこと、受難伝図像が大幅に増補された背景には文学の分野における受難伝の大衆化があったことが明らかになった。 |

| 内容記述 | The aim of this study is to figure out development of the ritualization of iconographic program of late Byzantine churches (13th -15th Century). Ritualization is changing in architectural style and iconographic program, and creation of new iconography according with liturgical changes. In late Byzantine churches, it has been well known that iconographic programs had become complicated and multi-stratified compare with the ones in middle Byzantine period. Through this study, it could be said that there was a trend toward polysemic iconography with plural dogmatic connotation like the Virgin Platytera as decoration of apse and that the enlargement of the Passion Cycle in 13th-century churches was brought about popularization of the Passion in middle Byzantine era. |
