| 内容記述 | 国際化が文部科学省主導で推し進められる中，金沢大学はスーパーグローバル大学 （SGU）との認定を受けた。大学へ来る留学生も年々増えている。SGUの目標を達成す るため様々なプロジェクトが行われており，その一環で始まったのが「English Hour!」 という留学生と日本人学生がカジュアルな英会話を楽しむイベントである。本学の ピアサポーターである留学生コンシェルジュ（LeCIS）や他の留学生がイベントの中で ファシリテーターとして活躍している。本稿はEnglish Hour!の設計・内容，またどの ように大学の国際化・学生エンゲージメントに資するものかを報告するものである。 さらに，イベント参加者のインタビュー，アンケートを基に学生のEnglish Hour!への 意見を紹介する。 |

| 内容記述 | Internationalization of universities has been strongly encouraged by the ministry of Education in Japan. Kanazawa University （KU） is selected as one of “Super Global University（ SGU）” by the government, and the number of international students coming to the university is increasing. KU runs various projects to fulfill the objectives of SGU. One of the projects is called“ English Hour!” which international students and Japanese students enjoy casual conversation in English. Peer supporter at KU called Learning Concierge of International Students（ LeCIS） and other international students work as facilitators of the event. This article reports how the event is organized and explains how the event contribute to the internationalization and student engagement. Moreover, participants’ opinions toward English Hour! are introduced based on interviews and questionnaire survey. |
