| 内容記述 | 本研究は、小学校理科単元である「人のたんじょう」の学習を効果的に行い、命の大切さについて体験的に学べる教育環境を構築するため、ノコギリウニの飼育体制を確立し、周年にわたり卵と精子の受精の瞬間を観察可能とした。また、保存した精子を用いたDNA抽出や解析実験を取り入れることにより、受精の本質的要素である遺伝情報の継承と、その実態の理解を可能とするプログラムが構築できた。これらを組み合わせて実践することにより、生命のつながりを体験的に学べる総合的教育プログラムが成立した。これは単一の動物により学校教育で実施可能なものとしては、現在唯一のものと考えられる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study established a educational program for elementary school children by sea urchin Prionocidaris baculosa,the fertilization of sperm and egg could be demonstrated whole year, which make them to learn the importance of animal life history experientially. In addition, DNA extraction and analysis experiments using stored their sperm were performed with observation of their fertilization. This program enables inheritance of genetic information, which is an essential element of fertilization, and understanding of its actual condition was constructed. This is currently considered the only one that can be implemented in school education with a single animal species. | |||||
