| 内容記述 | 琵琶湖に集積する堆積物の輸送プロセスを明らかにすることを目的として、湖外からの堆積物変動と湖底環境の変動を調べた。堆積物変動は風波に由来する変動と良い一致を見せたが年によって異なる挙動を示した。湖底環境では、泥温由来と考えられる湖底近傍の水温逆転が観測され、更に泥温の方が多くの時期で高温である事が観測された。これらの結果から、底泥を含んだ湖底近傍においては、熱的不安定性が生じる事によって上向きの輸送を促進し得る可能性のある事が分かった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | For clarifying transport processes of sediments settling from outside of Lake Biwa, we studied a fluctuation of sediments flowing from lake outside and time variation of water temperature near the boundary of lake-bottom and of temperature in lake sediments. Although the fluctuation of sediments well corresponded to monitoring data of the wind around Lake Biwa, its year-to-year trend was different. On the bottom of Lake Biwa, water temperature near the lake-bottom was higher than the temperature above it. Temperatureof the sediments below lake-bottom was also higher than the temperature near the lake-bottom. Spectrum analysis showed the possibility that an increase of water temperature near the lake-bottom could partly be induced by increasing the temperature of lake sediments. | |||||
