| 内容記述 | UBMS (UnBalanced Magnetron Sputtering)法によってTiCNコーティングエンドミルを作製し，SUS304の高速切削に適用している．コーティング膜に耐熱性を付与する従来の考え方から，潤滑性を付与して熱の発生を抑えることを主眼において開発している．光ファイバ型２色温度計を用いて測定した結果，一般的なAIP法によるコーティングエンドミルに比べて，加工中の工具温度が低減されている． The UBMS (UnBalanced Magnetron sputtering) method is applied to the coated end mills and some kinds of such tools are used in high-speed milling of SUS304. This coating film is designed to improve lubricating ability rather than heat resistance. Lower cutting temperature is measured with these UBMS-type TiCN-coated tools than the ordinary AIP-coated tools in high-speed side milling without coolant. | |||||
