| 内容記述 | The East off Izu Peninsula Earthquake of July 9,1989 with magnitude 5.5 on J.M.A. (Japan Meteorological Agency) scale occurred at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean off Ito City. This earthquake is the strongest in the earthquake swarm which started from the end of June 1989. The purposes of the present study are as follows : to give an outline of damage to structures, especially lifeline systems; to estimate the characteristics of strong motion through investigation of overturned tombstones, and to investigate the behavior of furnitures and inhabitants by using the results of questionnaire survey. | |||||
