Traffic information is necessary to keep a state of smooth and comfortable traffic. In this paper, the most suitable place where the traffic closure information is given to derivers has been made clear with transportation behavior of drivers, duration time of traffic closure and traffic volume. The effects to offer the traffic closure information has been estimated by the difference between the loss due to waiting and making detours. In this study, we obtain the results that duration time and traffic volume effect the decision of the most suitable place for traffic closure information by computer simulations using artificial data. |
